Zaytoun Medjoul Dates, commonly referred to as ‘The King of Dates’, make for a gourmet yet healthy treat. Both high in fibre and rich in potassium, they’re the perfect accompaniment to a cup of coffee, an indulgent addition to desserts and stews, and delicious with a cheeseboard. Sourced from Palestinian farmers in the Jordan Valley.
To serve the dates, we suggest splitting them, taking out the stone and eating them as an indulgent, healthy snack. They’re also delicious stuffed with a Palestinian almond, a chunk of chocolate or a spoonful of nut-butter. And they’re ideal for baking and in raw energy bars.
